Cookie Day Fundraiser
Thanks to your incredible support, the proceeds from last week’s Cookie Day were donated to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to aid in the restoration of nature damaged by the recent wildfires in the Yeongnam region.
In addition, relief supplies were delivered to the control tower in Uiseong, the area most severely affected by the fires, to assist ongoing emergency efforts.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who participated, purchased cookies, and shared the cause. Your kindness is helping heal both communities and the environment.
Let’s continue to stand together for nature.

Cookie Day Fundraiser
April 2-4, 2025
Hiking Heroes Jeju hosted a heartfelt Cookie Day Fundraiser to raise funds for the recovery of regions devastated by recent wildfires in Gyeongnam, Korea. The fires have severely impacted Juwangsan and Jirisan National Parks, damaging vital ecosystems and affecting nearby communities.
Every cookie shared brought us one step closer to helping nature heal. All proceeds from the event will go toward restoration efforts and support for those affected by the disaster.
We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who joined us. Together, we hope for a swift recovery and the return of life to Korea’s beautiful mountains and forests.
Thank you for being part of the healing journey.

Dolphin Center Donation
December 6, 2024
We donated the proceeds from our last charity bazaar to the Jeju dolphin conservation group, @hotpinkdolphins Hotpinkdolphins established in 2011 and spearheaded Korea’s first campaign to free captive dolphins from aquariums. Following the successful release of Jedol, a bottlenose dolphin, back into the wild in 2013, the organization has since helped eight more captive Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins return to their native waters around Jeju Island.
To monitor the well-being of these released dolphins, Hotpinkdolphins moved the Jeju Dolphin Center in Shindo-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo City. They have been actively advocating for the protection of endangered marine species and the preservation of marine ecosystems. This year, their efforts were rewarded when the Shindo-ri area was officially designated as a Jeju Dolphin Protection Zone.
Protecting dolphins ultimately means safeguarding their environment—the Jeju Ocaen. Hiking Heroes proudly supports Hotpinkdolphins in their mission to protect Jeju’s natural heritage.

Flea Market Fundraiser

Charity Bazaar

We had a successful charity bazaar!
All of our homemade cookies and brownies sold out, and the upcycled bracelets, keyrings, and eco-bags designed by Yurim were also a hit. We raised around $1,000 from sales and donations, which will soon be donated to a Jeju dolphin conservation organization.
